THE LOWDOWN
On Sunday we travel to Perth to take on St Johnstone in Scottish Women’s Cup action.
Following our 1-0 victory over Motherwell in the midweek game, Dean Gibson’s side will be looking to continue their winning ways this weekend.
THE OPPOSITION
St Johnstone currently sit fifth in the Park’s Motor Group SWPL 2 table, with three victories, two draws, and five defeats thus far in the league.
Their most recent result was an impressive 4-1 victory over Kilmarnock.
The Saints are currently managed by former Hibernian Women coach Grant Scott.

MANAGER'S NOTES
Dean Gibson was pleased with Wednesday's victory over Motherwell and has now turned his attention to this weekend's clash. He has also discussed what he expects from St Johnstone this weekend.
"Wednesday was an important win. We are playing well at the moment and winning these games is important to keep our momentum and confidence high. The conditions weren’t great but we showed good character and deservedly got three points.
"We are looking forward to Sunday. It’s another big game being the Scottish Cup. We have had a good start to 2022 and we want to continue that.
"St Johnstone will be well organised. We will need to be at our very best if we want to progress into the next round. We treat every opposition the same way. It’s really important that we prepare for this game the same way we have the previous two weekends.
"It’s a special competition that we have had a good relationship with over the years. We want to bring that trophy back to Easter Road. That journey starts Sunday."

FROM THE CHANGING ROOM
Hibs have picked up some good results since the winter break and Ellis Notley is hoping that form will continue into the Scottish Women’s Cup.
“As a squad, we are extremely happy with the victory over Motherwell. Three points was a must from the game, and we were delighted we could do that.
“We are looking forward to playing St Johnstone on Sunday. We have been playing well since returning from the break and we hope to continue this form in the cup.
“Grant Scott is obviously a good coach and has done well, here at Hibs and Glasgow City, so we can expect a well-organised side who will have a lot of energy, both defensively and in attack.”
