The 32-year-old winger will link up with Nigel Clough’s side for the remainder of the 2021/22 campaign, which will see his time at Hibernian FC come to an end as his contract expires at the end of the current season.
Murphy joined us originally on loan at the beginning of the 2020/21 campaign before signing permanently a year later.
To date, he’s made 50 appearances for us, with 18 of those coming during the current campaign.
This is the third time that the winger has played under Clough, he starred under him in 2020 for Burton Albion after a loan switch from Rangers.
