The Hibees entertain our Edinburgh rivals at Easter Road for the first time since March 2020 in the cinch Premiership.
The Hibs front man told HibsTV that the squad were all fully focussed on getting the right result on Tuesday night.
“Morale in the squad is good, even after the back of the defeat at the weekend. I think it's probably a game with that we would have picked to bounce back in after the defeat at the weekend.
“As a group, we have all taken ownership of the defeat. We aren’t letting the result get to us and we are all ready to go tomorrow.”
Nisbet featured in the Edinburgh Derby, a nil-nil stalemate back in September at Tynecastle. The striker is well-aware how big the fixture is for the city of Edinburgh.
“The Edinburgh Derby is massive. It is massive for the fans, it’s massive for the club so we need to make sure we are on top tomorrow.
“The environment and everything around the game is very high pressure. As players, you need to stand up and embrace it. It's a game you look forward to in the season so we are buzzing for the game.”
Hearts currently sit third in the cinch Premiership, two places above Hibs, and are enjoying a good run of form. Nisbet is well aware of the threats Hearts can cause, but is confident we can pick up all three points.
“Hearts have been in very good form, they are very good for a very physical team. We need to go and match them from the start and I if we match then we will come out on top."
Tuesday night will be the first time the two sides have met at Easter Road since March 2020 and the match has been confirmed as a sell-out.
“When it is a sell-out the place is always rocking. Even the game earlier this season at Tynecastle the atmosphere from the Hibs end was incredible so to get that at home will be amazing.
“It is up to us to get the fans on side as quickly as possible in the game. If we do that then it will be a great day for all of us.”

Since Maloney took over at Easter Road, Nisbet has featured in every match under the new boss, scoring two goals is his last six games.
"I'm loving playing under the Gaffer. I think it's a formation and style that suits me perfectly.
"It gives me a free role to go and get the ball, create things and make things happen. As well as getting into the box to try and get on the end of things.
"The relationship between me and the Manager has been great ever since he came in. I am really enjoying playing for him and I think he will make me a better player for sure."
