Following the approval of his work permit, he is available and could make his debut this against the cinch League 2 side on Sunday; 3pm kick-off at New Dundas Park.
The 21-year-old flew over from The Gambia earlier this week and reported straight to training as he looks to make his mark this season. Lee Johnson gave his thoughts on his immediate impact.
“He was good. He’s still having to learn the English and Scottish dialect, particularly the Scottish, because at the moment he’s having to translate everything in his head first, obviously that’ll come.
“We didn’t sign him on a whim; he’s a good player, he’s got a good change of direction, he’s a good finisher, he’s wiry and he can get in-between people. He showed that in training and showed it well.”
Other than Bojang, Johnson will have the same squad available to him. The Club is still waiting for the work permit approval for Jair Tavares and Élie Youan, whilst new signing Marijan Čabraja has been added to that list.
Our Manager also provided an update on Paul Hanlon, Kyle Magennis, Demetri Mitchell, and Kevin Nisbet.
“No-one else is available yet. We’ve still got the four injuries; they’re all progressing well and are all different in-terms of when they’re back.
“The good news is we haven’t got any other injuries, so it’ll be a strong team, a strong squad, and we’re looking forward to a good day.”
