The loan spell will run until the conclusion of the Irish league in November, upon which he will re-join Steve Kean’s Development Squad.
The 20-year-old joined the Hibees in January 2022 on a three-and-a-half-year deal from FK Bodø/Glimt.
After making the move to Scotland, he has been working closely with both the First Team and the Development Squad.
The attacking midfielder has made three competitive appearances in green and white, making his competitive debut for the Hibees against Dundee at Dens Park in March earlier this year. He also took part in our pre-season summer tour of Portugal and featured in our Premier Sports Cup campaign in July.
Hauge will now join up with fellow Hibee – Steven Bradley, who is currently flourishing on loan at the Irish side – to gain more important First Team experience and continue his development.
Dundalk currently sit second in the League of Ireland Premier Division and are seven points behind leaders Shamrock Rovers.
Everyone at the Club wishes Runar the best of luck at Dundalk and we look forward to welcoming him back to Edinburgh on the completion of his loan.
