Robbie replaced Elias Melkersen for the final fifteen minutes of our cinch Premiership win over St Johnstone.

It was the first time the 18-year-old had been included in the matchday squad and speaking after the match, the midfielder told hibernianfc.co.uk how delighted he was to make his debut.

“It was an unreal feeling, I couldn’t quite believe it, it was an absolutely surreal feeling and will definitely take a while to sink in.

“It was my first time making the squad, so it was a great feeling to get on the pitch and make my debut."

Robbie's appearance capped what has been a brilliant season for the U18s. The wee Hibees won the CAS Elite Youth League and five members of Gareth Evans' side went on to make their First Team debut, including Robbie Hamilton.

“Gareth Evans and Steve Kean have helped me massively this year. They have always praised me and given me the chance at U18 level which has eventually led to this.

"It has been great to be given the chance in the First Team, which has come off the back of good performances from the U18s.

“I am very lucky to be in this position, but the hard work starts now though. We all need to push on and carry the momentum into next season."
