The creative midfielder will depart Hibernian FC at the end of the month following the expiry of his contract.

A popular figure in the dressing room and a fans' favourite at Easter Road, Scott Allan had several memorable moments during his time in the capital.

The 30 year-old spent three separate spells with the Hibees since 2014, contributing 17 goals and 39 assists in 129 games for the Club.

After initially signing from West Bromwich Albion in July 2014, Allan went on to have a very successful first season in green and white.

He helped Hibs to a second-place finish in the Championship, scoring twice and setting up his teammates 17 times as he was named the Scottish Championship's PFA Player of the Year.

Allan spent time at Celtic, Rotherham and Dundee before returning to Hibs in January 2018 on loan.

He scored the first goal of his second spell as a Hibee in a memorable 2-0 victory over Hearts at Easter Road in March 2018.

In July 2019, Allan signed for the Hibernian on a three-year deal from Celtic.

Once again, “Scotty" hit the ground running and was one of the first names on the teamsheet in the 2019/20 campaign. He managed ten goals and eleven assists in his first season back in green and white.

Unfortunately, injury and illness affected Allan’s last two seasons at the Club as he struggled to put together a consistent run of appearances in the team.

Everyone at the Club would like to wish him the best of luck for the future and thank him for all his efforts and contributions over the years.
