Born on 19 June 2001, the centre forward had one goal and that was to chase his dream of becoming a professional footballer. His career began with Brikama United FC in Gambia before making the switch to Senegalese side Casa Sports.
He then moved back to his homeland to join Rainbow FC – the side he’s joined Hibs on loan from – before making a huge step in his career and jumping continent to play for FC Famalicão in Portugal.
Bojang spent the 2021/22 campaign playing on loan for the Portuguese side FC Famalicão U23s, scoring six goals in 17 appearances for the Club. He bagged two goals in three U23 Portugal Cup matches and bagged four in the league.

On the international stage Momodou has shone and is now pushing for his first senior Gambia cap. The centre forward has impressed through the Gambian youth ranks being top scorer for their U17s and U20s, whilst he was in those age groups.
Momodou also made six appearances at the U20 African Cup of Nations scoring twice as the Gambia U20s finished third in the competition last year.
Hibees supporters can expect a versatile striker who is comfortable playing through the middle and in the wide areas, with a range of physical and technical attributes that make him stand out for his age.
A player with raw pace and a lot of potential, Bojang could join the Hibees permanently if he impresses during his loan spell.
