Two Lewis Ferguson penalties either side of halftime and a goal from Vicente Besuijen sealed the victory for The Dons on what was a difficult afternoon for The Hibees.
Speaking to Hibs TV, Cadden gave his reaction to the defeat.
"Look, it is disappointing. Obviously we came here for three points and we didn't get them. We did well to get the early goal but then the two penalty decisions changed things.
"For the first one, it looks like it hits his knee and then his back so I feel Rocky is unlucky.
“When you are a goal down and a man down it was always going to be difficult. Pittodrie is a hard place to come as well, the boys dug in deep and worked their socks off but it was a disappointing day today."
The result means we drop to fifth in the league in a tightly congested mid-table with only four points separating fourth and tenth position. Following the international break we host Dundee United at home, a fixture Cadden is looking forward to.
“We have had a few injuries recently so hopefully we can get a few players back after the international break.
“We need to stick together ahead of the next two huge games. The next home game against Dundee United is massive for us, we all know that. We will take some time to refresh, analyse today’s game and then look forward to a big game at Easter Road.
"It was a defeat today but we all know there is still plenty to play for between now and the end of the season."
