The Hibees return to Easter Road for the first time in over a month as we host Aberdeen on Saturday 7 May; kick-off at 3pm.

After four successive matches away from home we return to Leith to face The Dons.

Speaking to Hibs TV ahead of the match, Caretaker Manager, David Gray, told us how much he was looking forward to being back at home.

“It has been a while since we have played at home, the pitch will be in good nick so we are all looking forward to being back in front of our home supporters.

“Most importantly, it is only a good occasion if we perform. We need to make sure that we start the game really well and get the fans right behind us.

"That can give us a real advantage and allow us to push on and get us a positive result."

After losing last week against Livingston, after the match, Gray emphasised the importance of being more clinical in front of goal. The Hibs Caretaker Manager expects a reaction this weekend against Aberdeen.

"From a training point of view, we have had a very good week. Against Livingston the performance in the first half was very good, we were so dominant in the first half, but we know you can't dominate the way we did and not go on to score.

"We realised that we were lacking in the final third so we just need to be a bit more clinical this weekend."

This will be the fourth time this season that the two sides have met this season - with the home time emerging victorious in every fixture. Gray is hoping home advantage can pay dividends once again but expects a tough challenge from The Dons.

“Aberdeen will be a tough game. They are a very competitive side, they have good legs in their team – especially in the middle of the pitch, so we know it will be a high-intensity game.

"They are coming in fresh of a positive result against Dundee, but we are all looking forward to being back at Easter Road."
