The 19-year-old signed a pre-contract with the Club and will officially join on July 1, 2022 when his contract with Leeds United expires.

The versatile defensive-midfielder touched down in Edinburgh earlier this week and after completing his medical and putting pen to paper on a two-year deal, he spoke with Hibs TV.

Nohan, who has been at Leeds since 2014, told us how much he was looking forward to a new challenge.

“I have been around the Leeds United First Team for a while, but I feel this is the right step for me. I know it is a massive step, but it is the right step for me and I am ready for the challenge.

“I have learned a lot about the Club already, I know it is a great Club with a fantastic fanbase and I can’t wait to get started.”

Kenneh is Lee Johnson’s second signing after David Marshall penned a two-year deal with the Club hours earlier.

“When I spoke to the Manager, he really sold me the project. It is a massive club with a great fanbase and mentality.

“Lee gave me a lot of confidence. He is an experienced coach, who has been in the game for nearly 10 years as a Manager.

“He has told me what he likes in my game and also given me some areas to improve on as well, so I think working with him will be the start of a good partnership.”

So, what can Hibs fans expect of new signing Nohan Kenneh?

“I can play several positions, but my preferred position is in holding midfield”, Kenneh explained.

“I like breaking up play, and my biggest strength is when I win the ball - I like to play forward quickly.

“As a number no.6 it is sometimes not easy to play forward, but I like to do it.

“This biggest thing for me now is to kick on and work hard. As a player, I am a team player, that always comes first for me."
