Speaking to Hibs TV, the Hibs central defender emphasised the importance of finishing off the first part of the season on a high.

“It has been a short preparation because we played Friday, but we are feeling confident and ready to put in a performance after last week's disappointment.

“We were all disappointed after the Aberdeen game. If you watch the game back, we were frustrated to concede such soft goals, but we will give a reaction and have prepared ourselves tomorrow to make sure we get a positive result at home."

Friday’s game against Aberdeen was Rocky’s third start since returning from injury and, ahead of Ross County, he feels he has found his place in Lee Johnson’s side.

“I feel good and well. I fit well in this system and I feel in my current position I can play to the best of my ability and show off my strengths.

“This (Ross County) game will be tough. From what I remember last season, it was a hard match. I remember we won and kept a clean sheet so we are hoping we can get the same result again.

“In terms of our performances, there is still progress to be made in some areas but we are working on it and we are getting there.

“We want to keep clean sheets. We want to score more goals, finish teams off and make sure we are more clinical in front of goal. That is so important for us.”
