THE LOWDOWN
After a sensational 2-1 victory over Glasgow City in the semi-finals of the Sky Sports Cup two weeks ago, the Hibees’ focus turns back to domestic action as they travel to take on Glasgow Women (kick-off 12:00pm) this Sunday.
Dean Gibson’s side will head into this fixture with a lot of positivity and confidence after their last fixture against Glasgow City and will be looking to secure back-to-back victories.
Hibs Women currently sit 6th in the SWPL 1 table on 11 points but a win on Sunday could also see them jump into 5th if other results go their way.
THE OPPOSITION
Glasgow Women earned promotion into the SWPL 1 this year after finishing as runners-up to Dundee United in the SWPL 2 last season.
It has been a tough start to life in the SWPL 1 for Glasgow Women, however, as they have lost all nine of their opening league matches.
Despite their rocky start, they are only four points behind Aberdeen in 11th, meaning Sunday’s game will be very important for Andy Gardner’s team.
KEEPING UP WITH THE ACTION
Sunday’s clash with Glasgow Women kicks off at 12:00pm, live from New Tinto Park.
Gates open at 11:30am on Sunday and ticket prices are as follows and available to PATG:
Adults: £6
Under-16s: £3
Under-10s: Free.
