Speaking to Hibs TV on the international break, Freda said:

“It was really nice, slightly warmer than here. But it’s nice to be back with the team, it was good to get some good games in. I’m back and I’m focused.”

The Cypriot featured in both friendly defeats against Greece, saying:

“First bit of the first game we were really good. Obviously, Cyprus and Greece have a big difference in their quality of players.

“Greece have a lot of players who play abroad, and play internationally. Whereas most of our players they play in Cyprus or only just now are we starting to have players that are going abroad.

“So, it was a good challenge for us”, she added. “It showed us where we need to work on and what we’re good at.

“Going into the Nations League I think it will be really good for us to have played those games and to build from there.”

Freda was the hero of the semi-final victory over Glasgow City, netting a double. She described the mood around the training ground:

“It’s been good, you can tell everyone is still excited from that win.

“At the same time”, she went on. “You can tell that we have refocused because that game, as exciting as it was, it’s finished and we have other games in the league and then the cup after that.

“That’s not the first thing we’re thinking about, we have a game on Sunday and that’s the first priority.

Hibernian face Glasgow Women at the weekend, who have lost all of their last nine matches.

“It's another trip to Glasgow but I'm excited to be back with the team, to be re-focused, every game’s important because you have to win points to move up in the league. So that’s our focus for the game.”
