The midfielder scored the first, a cracking effort from 25 yards, and set the tempo for the rest of the day.
“It was a hit and hope honestly. I had space and time and we haven’t tested the ‘keeper in a while, and it just came off well really.”
“In the second half I think we showed our quality, we brought players off the bench and they really showed what a great Hibs team is really like.”
Next week, the team faces an Edinburgh Derby to be played at Easter Road against Hearts. The dynamic midfielder played up the importance of this result going into that match.
“The Hearts game is going to be a big one, so to get six goals this week, it’s important for us to get some confidence and flow into that game.”
As a large attendance is expected, Livingstone also had a message for fans willing to cheer the team on.
“We've broken the record, but we want to break that again - but hopefully we can have as many people as possible making a huge atmosphere at Easter Road. It'll be a good opportunity for us, and hopefully one everyone will enjoy.”
