THE LOWDOWN
The Hibees welcome Middlesbrough to Easter Road this Saturday, kicking off at 1pm, as Lee Johnson looks to keep his side fresh and ticking over during the World Cup break.
This will be the English Championship side's first visit to Easter Road since a pre-season friendly in the summer of 2007, where the Hibees came out 1-0 winners thanks to a late strike from Ross Campbell.
Mixu Paatelainen was in the dugout for the Hibees that day, with current England Manager, Gareth Southgate in charge of Middlesbrough.
The match will provide Lee Johnson's side with a good opportunity to maintain fitness and performance levels ahead of the return of the cinch Premiership which resumes on Thursday 15 December.
THE OPPOSITION
Middlesbrough currently sit 14th in the English Championship; however, they are only four points off the play-off spots and are unbeaten in their last four fixtures.
Ex-Manchester United midfielder, Michael Carrick, took charge of Boro in late October and has since turned the tide for the Northerners, picking up ten points from the first fifteen available.
One player to keep an eye on is Chuba Akpom. A graduate of the Arsenal academy, Akpom has eight goals in fifteen league matches this season and is lethal inside the box.
HOW TO WATCH
The match kicks off at 1pm on Saturday 26 November and the only way to watch the action this weekend is in person at Easter Road!
Tickets are priced at £5 for Hibernian Season Ticket Holders and free for U13s with a paying adult.
