Introduce Yourself...

Hi! I’m Orla and I am six years old! I have been coming to games since I was four months old with my mum. I've had a season ticket since the age of two, and I try to attend the majority of home games as well as some away games.

I also enjoy watching the Hibernian Women's team and follow them home and away.

Tell Us About Your Fundraising Effort...

After seeing the pictures of the Dnipro Kids on the way to Scotland to flee the war in Ukraine, I wanted to help. I saw a boy called Artur who was researching Hibs and I wanted to give some of my toys to make the transfer to Scotland a little easier for them.

Our initial plan was to raise £100 through charity football cards, where the winner got some money and the rest of the charity got the rest of it.

We also did a car boot sale, hamper raffles, a Grand National sweepstake and a bucket collection at the Hibs vs Bonnyrigg Rose game at the start of the season.

Everyone has been really generous and we have now raised £1,280!

What Was Your First Hibs Game?

My mum tells me my first game was on the 10 July, 2016 against Motherwell in a friendly. I think we won 4-1 and I was only four months old at the time! I met Jason Cummings after the game and he told my mum he was more nervous holding me than the Scottish Cup!

What’s Your All-Time Favourite Hibs Match?

My favourite Hibs match this year so far has to be Hibs v Bonnyrigg Rose at the start of the season! My favourite Hibs player, Joe Newell scored that day - so any game that he scores I am very happy! I also currently play for Bonnyrigg Rose Under-7s so this game made it very special.

In regards to Hibs Women, the Edinburgh Derby at Easter Road with record-breaking attendance was amazing. I also got to meet all the girls after the match!

Another game I enjoyed was last season's match with Motherwell where I was lucky enough to be a mascot for the day and felt part of the team.

Who Is Your Favourite Hibs Player?

My favourite Hibs player is Joe Newell. I have met him a few times and he seems such a nice person. I do like all of the boys but also like Murray Johnson and Rocky Bushiri, and in the Hibernian Women's team and my favourite player, this year is Poppy Lawson, although all the Hibernian women are brilliant!

What Do Hibs Mean To You?

Hibs means everything to me. It feels like a big family and Easter Road is my second home!
