THE LOWDOWN

Lee Johnson's side come into this one off the back of three straight wins in the cinch Premiership, having defeated Kilmarnock, Aberdeen and more recently Ross County.

Ryan Porteous and Martin Boyle got the goals in Dingwall to claim all three points in what was an excellent second-half performance for the Hibees.

Up next, Hibs host Motherwell looking to extend our winning streak to four matches and capitalise on our solid home record in which we are undefeated in our last 10 league matches at Easter Road.

Our recent good form has lifted us up to fourth in the table with 14 points, one point behind St Mirren in third.

FRANCK SAUZÉE RETURNS

Saturday's match will see the return of Franck Sauzée to Easter Road for the first time since he left the Club in 2022.

Ahead of the match, Sauzée will deliver the match ball before kick-off so we urge supporters to arrive in their seats early to give ‘Le God’ the welcome he deserves.

THE VISITORS

Motherwell come into this fixture off the back of a positive result in midweek against Ross County.

The Steelmen put five past Ross County in Dingwall in what was a clinical performance from start to finish. Callum Slattery and Joseph Efford were both on target and Kevin Van Veen bagged a hat-trick, taking his goal tally to 10 for the season (all comps).

Steven Hammel's side currently sit sixth in the table, two points behind the Hibees, having picked up four wins this season.

HEAD TO HEAD

We are unbeaten against Motherwell in our previous five head-to-head fixtures.

We took five points out of a possible nine against The Steelmen last season - drawing twice after winning on the opening day of the 2021/22 campaign.

Our most recent meeting was in the Scottish Cup Quarter Final, a 2-1 victory with Elias Melkersen scoring a brace on his first start for the Club.
