The 6ft 4’ Ukrainian striker joined up with his teammates on Wednesday (14 September, 2022) after his work permit was approved and has been straight to work in preparation for the cinch Premiership game against Aberdeen on Saturday.
The 21-year-old has now taken part in three training sessions and between those squeezed in an interview with Hibs TV!
“I am happy,” smiled the striker. “Everything is good here. The training base is good and there’s a great atmosphere in the team.
“I enjoy the training. I have talked to everyone in the team and again have felt a good atmosphere here.”
Kuharevich joins on loan from ES Troyes AC in France – a club that is part of the City Football Group.
Athletic and a big presence, the Ukrainian U21 international comes with a lot of promise, but he doesn’t want the limelight.
“I don’t like talking about myself. I just want to be useful for the team and to help the team get three points in every game.
“I think this it’s a good competition in Scottish football. I heard everyone saying that you have to fight in every game and give everything on the pitch. It’s a good challenge for me and I will give everything for it.”
His and the team’s focus is now firmly on Saturday as league action returns following the passing of Queen Elizabeth II.
After being in training, he can’t wait to feel the atmosphere at Easter Road!
