Steve Kean’s side travel to the borders to play Queen of the South on Tuesday (18 April) needing just a point to clinch the title.
If the Dev Squad avoid defeat, it means Steve Kean’s side will round off an unbeaten season in the cinch Reserve League.
The Dev Squad have been on fine form this campaign, winning six and drawing two of their eight league games so far.
They currently lead the way on 20 points, seven points clear of their nearest challengers Kilmarnock – who have a game in hand.
Motherwell and Dundee United have both only played five matches, meaning mathematically they are still in contention although it is unlikely they will catch the Hibees.

Both sides come into this one off the back of good wins last time out. The Dev Squad put three past Kilmarnock at Rugby Park in their last league outing, before Allan Delferrière netted a hat-trick against Newcastle U23 in a friendly last week.

Queen of the South also picked up three points, beating Dundee 2-0 in early April. That win lifted the Dumfries club off the foot of the table up into ninth.
The match kicks off at 7:30pm on Tuesday 18 April at Palmerston Park.
