The Club are excited to announce Abandoman – aka Rob Broderick – as our headline entertainment act for the end-of-season awards dinner which takes place on Sunday 28 May, 2023.
Abandoman completes our entertainment offering and will perform one of his trademark stand-up routines which combines a unique blend of audience interaction, quick wit and musical improvisation.

Abandoman’s innovative shows have been hugely popular, having sold out the Edinburgh and Australia Fringe festivals on a regular basis, supported Ed Sheeran on his sell-out UK tour and performed at Glastonbury.
The critically acclaimed comedian will now return to Edinburgh in May for the Hibernian Player of the Year and join host Iain Stirling for the awards night.
The 2022/23 campaign has had many moments worth celebrating across the Club. This season has celebrated the 25-year anniversary of the Hibernian Women's team, saw the Development Squad and Hibernian FC Academy flourish in the UEFA Youth League and win the cinch Reserve League whilst Lewis Stevenson hit another milestone - this time becoming the club's all-time league record appearance maker. The awards night will celebrate all this and more as nine individual awards will be handed out across the course of the evening.
The action begins from 6pm at the EICC with a welcome drink on arrival followed by a three-course meal, event programme, tea, coffee and petit fours. Premium Dinner Packages also include VIP seating and a bespoke drinks package.
