The 20-year-old centre-back has returned to Easter Road for a second loan spell following a strong end to his 2022/23 cinch Premiership campaign.
Making the return to Leith was a no-brainer for the Englishman, and speaking to Hibs TV for the first time since he returned, the Manchester United loanee told us how much he was looking forward to the upcoming season.
“At the back end of last season, I always sort of had in my head that I wanted to come back this year.
“I went away in the summer and tried to get it over the line as quickly as possible. For whatever reason, it kept getting delayed. But, I'm delighted to be here now and I’m ready to get going.”
After netting three goals for the Hibees last season, Will found himself playing an important role alongside Paul Hanlon in the centre of defence and was eager to rejoin his teammates at HTC.
“I really enjoyed my time here last season - the dressing room was unbelievable.
“It's a massive club and I felt the appreciation of the fans and the trust of the gaffer. Now, I just really want to play for Hibs again.
“It feels like I never left to be honest. A few new lads have come in which is great and they are good additions to the squad.”
Fish will wear the number five for the upcoming campaign!
“It is a big privilege to have that shirt number at a club like this. A lot of top players have worn it in the past and I'm just grateful that the Club and the gaffer have put faith in me to give me that number. Now it's down to me to go and back it on the pitch with my performances!”

Hibs fans could see Will Fish in action again for the first time on Thursday night - the defender is eligible for selection and could feature against Inter Club d'Escaldes at Easter Road.
"I'm really looking forward to being back out there," Fish continued.
"I played 20 or so games last season and I am looking to build on that again this year.
"We can't underestimate them and we know what kind of challenge they will bring. But I think being back at home and having our own crowd behind us will help us tomorrow.
"If we play our football and can get an early goal on Thursday night, then I am sure we will be fine."
