The 24-year-old has been in the door for less than a month at Easter Road but has quickly settled into the squad after what has been a frantic start to the season.

Ahead of our cinch Premiership clash with Livingston, we caught up with Dylan Vente to find out how he has been adapting to life in Scotland. He told Hibs TV:

“Every three days we have had a game so we have had a few busy weeks since I arrived. As a footballer, that is what you want so it is a good thing.

“Before I came here I hadn’t played for three or four weeks so I am still working on my fitness. But playing every three days has helped get my fitness up to speed.”

Since arriving in Edinburgh, Dylan has featured five times for the Hibees making three goal contributions already (two goals and an assist). But the striker insists there is still plenty more to come from him, thanking the Hibs fans for all their support since he joined the Club.

“I came here to score goals and be an important player for the team, that was my goal. It is my job to do that so hopefully I can add a lot more during my time here.

“The supporters are so important for me. I have got loads of text messages from family and friends telling me about, the songs the fans have made for me. I have heard it in a few of the games so far, I am obviously new here so it helps me a lot.”

Looking ahead to Saturday’s match with Livingston, Dylan has urged his teammates to get back on track in the league - following a poor start domestically.

“We need to get a reaction after Wednesday’s defeat. We need to create more chances and show our fight as a team as we all want our first three points of the season.”
