After going into the break 2-0 down, Grant was pleased after Brooke Nunn's sublime volley levelled the scores deep into second-half stoppage time.

“I thought we were a little bit unfortunate to be the two goals down and I’m really disappointed with the goals we lost, but to get the last-minute equaliser when you’ve been in a losing position so late in the game is obviously a show of character for the players.”

“The momentum in the game wasn’t really with us and we spoke a lot about that coming into the game. We asked the players to play the same way at half-time, but they just had to raise their intensity level. I think we got that in the second half – the sending of obviously helps in that regard. But we were much more intent with our play.”

Overall, Despite the late comeback, Grant seemed disappointed to take a sole point from this fixture.

“There’s a lot of matches where we’re looking to take three points now. When we’re at home, we said it during the week that we need to try and get the three points here. It’s difficult to predict what’s going to happen but it’s a credit to the players to react in the second half and get the equaliser.”

With a full week to prepare until the next game against Celtic, Grant will use this time to recover his squad and develop a plan for the game.

“It’s interesting to see the intensity of the matches after having three game weeks because the quality in the divisions is going up and up, it becomes more of a challenge. I know the players will be happy with the full week to prepare, I know myself and the staff will be the same, and we’ll try and get some ideas in the coming days.”
