The Hibees will play seven matches between now and the January Winter Break, starting with the visit of Aberdeen to Easter Road on Sunday.
We come into this one off the back of a five-match unbeaten run in the cinch Premiership, including back-to-back wins over Dundee and Kilmarnock in our last two matches.
“It has been a good week”, Montgomery told Hibs TV.
“We have been analysing the performance at Dundee and taking the positives from a good win out there. We did well to see the game out with 10-men in the second half and got the likes of Christian Doidge back on the pitch so there is plenty to be positive about.
“We love playing at Easter Road in front of the home fans. We are all really looking forward to being back there and hopefully, we can continue our momentum going into next week.”
The Hibees face a Dons side who were in UEFA Conference League action in midweek, drawing 2-2 with HJK Helsinki in Finland on Thursday. This will be the third meeting between the two teams this season and Montgomery is expecting another tough test.
“Aberdeen have been used to playing in European competitions and playing midweek this season. I watched them play last night, and they made quite a few changes so I am sure they will be well prepared to play us on Sunday.
“They are a competitive, physical side and we expect them to come to Easter Road looking for a result. We will be ready for them; we are well prepared but we know it’s going to be a tough game – there are no easy games in this competition.”

In his interview with Hibs TV, Montgomery also provided an injury update on both Chris Cadden and Harry McKirdy who continue their road to recovery following long-term injuries.
“It is the same situation with those guys, we are hoping to get through this Christmas period and then get them back on the training ground in January/February.
“Right now they are both working hard to get back in training and get back involved with the squad, so we will just continue to monitor that situation.”
