“During my time here, games with Rangers have always been competitive. They’re always games we look forward to, but we’ve got to start taking results along with performances, whether that’s one point or three. We don’t want to come back down the road empty handed.”
“We know that if we turn up, and play to our full potential, then we have a chance of winning, but we need to be at the top of our game to really hurt a side of Rangers quality.”

The manager also provided an update on Siobhan Hunter, as the defender looked to have suffered a nasty injury last Sunday, and the rest of his squad ahead of the game on Thursday.
“It’s probably a miracle that Shiv is fit and ready. At the time on Sunday, I thought it would have been her season over if I’m honest, to have her back so quickly is a boost. She’s an experienced player and what she’ll bring to this game is huge.”

"Shannon McGregor and Poppy Lawson were unavailable on Sunday; they'll both out again for Thursday night. We’ve sent Shannon away for a scan, and everything in her knee is okay, but there’s just something we need a second opinion on. Poppy will be out for up to four weeks with a slight hamstring injury."
“Crystal Thomas is still out and Ailey Tebbett is getting closer every week."
"Finally, Rachael Boyle, we just need to build up her minutes. She’s not going to be ready to play a full ninety, particularly in a game like we have on Thursday, but she’ll be an option for us.”

Gibson also touched upon the recent news that Michaela McAlonie had signed a new long-term deal with the club – and his ambitions of building a strong squad for the future.
“During my time here, I think I’ve had to build three different squads. The first goal was getting a consistent home – that’s now Meadowbank – now it’s about getting a consistent squad. Micky signing until 2025 is a huge boost for the club, she’s a top young player and she’s got a huge future. She knows she has to keep developing, and we feel that we’re the club to help her do that.”
