After battling with cancer for over a year, Ron sadly passed away earlier this week, aged 68.
Both Edinburgh clubs will come together this Sunday to pay their respects to Ron who was a passionate football fan, charismatic leader and strong advocate for Women’s football.
The Capital Cup takes place this Sunday 26 February; kick-off at 1:10pm at Tynecastle.
Before the match, both teams will walk out to the pitch wearing white t-shirts with Ron’s initials ‘RJG’ printed inside a green and maroon love heart for each team.
Both sets of players will also wear black armbands for the duration of the match and there will be a minute’s silence ahead of kick-off for all players, staff and supporters to remember Ron.
