Starting the year off with two successive victories’, Notley is hopeful this could provide the basis for further positive results.

"We’ve started this half of the season well and we’re hoping we can carry on with that and really look to kick on, progress and pick up more points."

The midfielder also touched upon the optimism that new signings Brooke Nunn and Katie Lockwood have brought to the squad.

"They’re settling in well and we’re getting to know them, and they’re getting to know us. Katie was obviously delighted with her first goal for the club and hopefully there’s many more to come."

Notley, who has been an ever present for her side this season talked about the steps taken in training that will aid the team in getting a positive result on Sunday.

"We’ve played them not too long ago, so hopefully the preparation for that game is still fresh in all our minds. We’ve prepared well this week because we expect a tough opposition."

"We’ve looked at some clips so we know what we can improve on, and where we can improve, but also where we can hurt them. Hopefully we can take that into Sunday and execute our game plan."

Ellis was also grateful for the support she and her team-mates have received from fans throughout the season and is hoping that will continue into both club matches on Sunday.

‘’We hear them on the pitch… we love the support; we appreciate the support and hopefully we can get lots of people to come this weekend.’

"It’s a big day for the club on Sunday. We’ve got our game against Spartans and the men have their game against Hearts. Hopefully we can get two wins."
