THE LOWDOWN
Hibs Women are back in action on Sunday as they host Glasgow Women at Meadowbank Stadium (kick-off 4pm) in SWPL 1 action.
Dean Gibson’s side, who currently sit 5th in the SWPL 1, picked up a 4-0 win over Partick Thistle Women last weekend with goals coming from Nor Mustafa, Katie Lockwood, Eilidh Adams, and Kirsty Morrison.
This has resulted in the Hibees gaining ground on Hearts Women in 4th place, reducing the points gap between the Edinburgh rivals to five. It also meant that Gibson’s side moved five points clear of Partick Thistle Women in 6th place.
THE OPPOSITION
Glasgow Women currently sit bottom of the SWPL 1 table having lost all 16 of their league matches so far.
Hibs Women and Glasgow Women have met each other once in the SWPL 1 already this season, on November 20th, in a match that saw Gibson’s side secure an emphatic 6-0 win.
