Our new Manager Grant Scott met his players for the first time of the season this weekend when they returned to HTC for pre-season testing.

After two weeks at our home training base, Scott will step up our preparations for the upcoming 2023/24 ScottishPower Women’s Premier League campaign. The Hibees will fly out to Cork on Tuesday 18 July for an intensive six-day training camp, before returning home on Sunday 23 July.

This trip was funded, in part, by monies raised by the highly successful Hibs25 event in April of this year. At the special event to celebrate 25 years of Women's Football at Hibernian FC, we were joined by so many people including fans, players and staff who contributed to the growth of Women’s Football at Hibernian over the last 25 years.

Whilst in Ireland, the Hibees will play a pre-season friendly fixture against Cork City Women on Saturday 22 July. Fixture details will be released in due course.

Throughout the trip, there will be exclusive content across all the Club’s social media channels from the training camp, make sure to follow @HibernianWomen.

Hibs Women general manager, Chris Gaunt commented on the trip: “The trip to Cork will help bring the team together ahead of the start to the season, moreover it allows Grant to get focused time with players both old and new.

“I want to thank everyone for making Hibs25 such a success. It feels tremendous that celebrating the past successes provided the funding for the current Women's team to get a pre-season trip. Hopefully, this will help to create new days of glory for Hibernian Women.”
