THE LOWDOWN
Hibs entertain Dutch side, FC Groningen, in what will be the only chance to watch the Hibees at Easter Road in pre-season before the competitive action resumes.
This is the fourth pre-season friendly of the 2023/24 campaign – as Lee Johnson’s side gear up for a busy start to the season.
Earlier this month, the Hibees beat Edinburgh City 4-2 at Meadowbank before playing FC Europa and English Premier League side AFC Bournemouth in our pre-season training camp out in Marbella.
The match kicks off at 7:15pm and Season Ticket Holders can attend free of charge as part of their benefits package.

TEAM NEWS
Riley Harbottle joined the Club earlier this week and Hibernian supporters could get a glimpse of our new signing in action on Friday.
Chris Cadden and Joe Newell will miss out whilst Australian duo Martin Boyle and Lewis Miller will be assessed ahead of the match.
Teenagers, Reuben McAllister, Kanayo Megwa, Jacob MacIntyre and Rudi Molotnikov all played their part in the Marbella training camp and could likely be involved against FC Groningen.
OUR OPPONENTS: FC GRONINGEN
FC Groningen were relegated from the Eredivisie last season, so will be preparing for the Eerste Divisie – the second-tier of Dutch football – for the first time in 23 years.
The Club, however, has a strong history of bringing through top talent, including the likes of Virgil van Dijk and Arjen Robben.
Hibs supporters will recognise Kevin Van Veen who joined the Dutch side this summer. The former Motherwell player scored 29 goals (all comps) for ‘The Well’ last season and could be involved for his new club this Friday.
