To mark the exciting link-up with a charity that does so much within the Hibs’ community, supporters will soon get the chance to meet ‘Persy’ – a new mascot who will join familiar face Sunshine on matchdays at Easter Road Stadium.

Persy – short for the Leith motto, ‘persevere’ – will help raise awareness of HSF’s activities and the opportunities they create for young people across Edinburgh. Persy will lead two deserving young children out for each home game, with the cost of their mascot packages covered by HSF.

Created in 2019, with primary donations provided by Paul Hanlon and Lewis Stevenson, HSF has always strived to support local causes – with an emphasis on assisting kids who may need a helping hand.

To celebrate the partnership, the Hanlon Stevenson Foundation are offering ten lucky junior Hibernian supporters the opportunity to win a free Hibs Kids membership as well as 10 Hibs Kids Plus 1 Memberships for the 2023/24 season. To be in with a chance of winning one of those memberships, complete this sign-up form.

Hanlon Stevenson Foundation’s chairman, Graeme Cadger, said: “We are really pleased to have agreed this new partnership with Hibernian FC and I’m sure our spend of £30,000 will help create once in a lifetime experiences for deserving children in our local community”.

“Everyone involved with HSF has the same goal – from Paul and Lewis, our many ambassadors to a dedicated bunch of volunteers – to make a difference in our community. Hibernian FC have a proud, longstanding tradition of sharing those same values.”

“We’re delighted to be teaming up with the Hanlon Stevenson Foundation” added Murray Milligen, Head of Commercial at Hibernian FC.

“Everyone at the Club is tremendously proud of the role Hibernian FC plays within the community so it’s been great to be working alongside an organisation that makes such a positive contribution across the City.

“Through the partnership, more children than ever will have the opportunity to make special memories at Easter Road which is fantastic.”

In addition to their association with the Club, HSF boast a number of strategic partnerships with the likes of Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charity, Low Income Families Together (LIFT) and Street Soccer Scotland.
