The Hibees take on Inter Club d'Escaldes on Thursday afternoon (kick-off at 4pm BST) in what is our first competitive game of the 2023/24 campaign.
After arriving in Andorra on Wednesday afternoon, the squad visited Estadi Comunal of Andorra la Vella ahead of the match for an hour-long training session.

Speaking after the session, Dan told us how much he was looking forward to the match.
“It has been a long day for the boys. We started at 8 o’clock on Wednesday morning at Edinburgh Airport to get our flight to Girona and then a bus journey across to Andorra.
“So it has been a long day but the boys are all looking for to it. It’s our first competitive game of the season and there is nothing better than it being in Europe.”
This is the second time Hibs have travelled out to Andorra in the last three years. On our last visit, the Hibees overcame FC Santa Coloma winning 2-1 in the first leg - with Dan MacKay scoring the winner back in July 2021.
“It was a good start to my Hibs career last time we were out here," MacKay continued.
“I had only been in a few months and I scored my first goal for the Club in Europe which was a massive moment for me.
“It was a good experience for the boys at the time, I thought we were unlucky in the next round against Rijeka - unfortunately we got beat, but we are hoping we can go at least one step further this year.
“We know it will be a hard game. Every time you come abroad into their home patch you are expecting a hard game.
“The Manager went out to watch them last week which gave him a good insight into what they will be like. We are all set to go and hopefully, everything we have done in the lead-up will put us in good stead for this game.”
