Supporters may recognise Naomi from two of our recent pre-season matches as she featured as a trialist in midfield.
The American has spent the past year of her career commanding the midfield at Nottingham Forest after relocating to England to continue her university studies. Powell enjoyed a successful season with The Reds, lifting the FA Women's National League Division One trophy and the League Cup.
A youngster with a keen eye for a difficult pass, Powell will look to make her presence known in Edinburgh with plenty of energy and creativity as she vies for a place in the starting XI.
Naomi will wear the number 27 for the Hibees and upon her arrival at Hibernian FC, she said:
“I’m really looking forward to the new season, it’s a new experience for me, especially being a part of this great club - the pioneers of football. The SWPL is a bit of a step up in terms of the level of play, the speed, and quality of the players, but I’m really looking forward to gaining experience, developing and learning. I want to win games with Hibs and try to get to the top end of the table.”

Hibernian Women General Manager, Chris Gaunt added: “It was quite evident when Naomi played in our pre-season games that she would not only handle the Scottish game, but also make us better.
"By joining us in Cork she has the perfect trial period. She gelled well with the rest of the team and will fit in straight away."
