The 24 year-old centre forward has been handed the number 9 shirt after arriving for a significant transfer fee from the Netherlands.
After finding the net on 46 occasions over the last two seasons, the Dutchman hopes to bring his lethal form in front of goal to the cinch Premiership.
“It feels great to be at Hibernian,” the Feyenoord youth product told hibernianfc.co.uk. “I’m really happy.”
“When I heard of the interest, I was delighted. The manager gave me a good feeling about the Club when we spoke and I really want to show my abilities in the Scottish league.
“I’m a striker who scores goals. The last two seasons have been pretty good for me and I want to bring that to Hibs."
Vente joins the Hibees as the Club's ninth summer signing of 2023.
On top of a formidable goalscoring record, he has also provided 16 assists during his time at Roda.
Discussing his skillset as a striker, he said: “I like to run in behind defenders and score goals, for a striker that is the most important thing.
“As a striker, you always want the number 9. At Roda, I also wore the number 9. It’s the biggest number for a striker and I’m delighted to be given it.
"Let’s start scoring goals in that number!”
