Christian Doidge

Christian Doidge spent the majority of the 2022/23 season at fellow cinch Premiership side, Kilmarnock.

The striker scored three goals and contributed three assists during his time in Ayrshire.

The 30-year-old found the best part of his form towards the end of the season, scoring important goals against Hearts and St Mirren to ensure Kilmarnock avoided relegation and finished 10th in the cinch Premiership on 40 points.

Nohan Kenneh

Nohan Kenneh spent the second half of this season at Ross County.

Since joining in January, Kenneh has been ever-present in the Staggies team – making 17 appearances, including 14 starts.

Kenneh has helped set up four goals for the Highland side and his impressive performances have earned him a call-up to the Liberia national side.

Ross County finished 11th in the table meaning they now face a relegation play-off against Partick Thistle to determine whether they will be playing cinch Premiership football or not next season.

Kevin Dąbrowski

Kevin Dąbrowski spent the second half of the season on loan at cinch League One side Queen of the South.

Kev made 14 appearances in total, keeping three clean sheets and helping the Doonhamers to a fifth-place finish.

That loan spell ended Kev’s time at the Club and everyone at Hibernian FC wishes the 24-year-old the best of luck for the future.

Daniel MacKay

Dan MacKay has had an excellent season for Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC, helping them reach the Scottish Cup Final.

MacKay was influential in their semi-final victory over Falkirk, grabbing a goal and an assist in a 3-0 victory to set up a showpiece final with Celtic this weekend.

In the league, Caley Thistle, narrowly missed out on a Play-Off spot by two points, finishing sixth in the cinch Championship.

MacKay has made 39 appearances for ICT so far, scoring four times and contributing eight assists.

Elias Melkersen

Melkersen has played twice Sparta Rotterdam since he joined the Dutch side in January.

Sparta Rotterdam face Utrecht in a two-legged Play-Off to determine if they will be playing European football next season.


Robbie Hamilton

18-year-old Robbie Hamilton has enjoyed a fruitful loan spell at League Two champions Stirling Albion FC.

Hamilton played 13 times for ‘The Binos’, losing only one game during his time at the Club.

Jacob Blaney

Jacob Blaney signed a new two-year deal with the Hibees in February before heading out on loan to Stenhousemuir.

The defender has played five times for Gary Naysmith’s side – featuring against Dumbarton, Annan Athletic, East Fife, Forfar Athletic and Dumbarton.

Stenhousemuir finished sixth in League Two on 47 points.

Kanayo Megwa

Our Academy Player of the Year, Kanayo Megwa has enjoyed a fantastic 2022/23 campaign.

Kanayo played a huge part in the wee Hibees UEFA Youth League campaign and was a constant in the Hibs Dev Squad, during the first half of the season.

Kanayo then joined Kelty Hearts in February and went on to make 9 appearances for the League One side – keeping three clean sheets in total.

Kelty finished 8th in cinch League One on 40 points.

Josh McCulloch

Josh joined Stirling Albion in February – making six appearances in total for the League Two outfit.

Upon completion of his loan move, Josh’s contract is now up with Hibernian FC and we wish him the best of luck for the future.

Dylan Tait

Dylan Tait spent the 2022/23 season on loan at Arbroath.

During his time with The Red Lichties, Tait featured in 21 games in total, helping Arbroath avoid relegation with an 8th-place finish in the Championship.

Emmanuel Johnson

Following his loan switch back to the MLS, Emmanuel Johnson has featured for Austin FC II in the MLS Next Pro league.

The speedy wideman has made nine appearances and has scored one goal which came against Minnesota United FC.

Austin FC II currently sit fifth of the MLS Next Pro.
