The striker has joined the Club having left Australian A-League side Sydney FC this summer and put pen-to-paper on a one-year deal. The Club has an option to extend this for a further campaign.

An experienced goal scorer, Le Fondre has amassed 694 career appearances to date and bagged an impressive 273 goals.

He averaged one goal every 1.8 games during his time at Sydney in the A-League and helped the Club win the Premiership and two Grand Finals! He was also named in the A-League Team of the Season in 2019 and 2020.

Alongside playing in Australia, the forward also impressed in India, winning the league with Mumbai City, and down in England competing for a plethora of clubs throughout the league system. Most notably he helped fire Reading to the Premier League in 2011/12 and bagged 12 goals in the English top-flight.

On the arrival of Le Fondre, Hibernian FC Manager Lee Johnson commented: “Adam brings craft to our new front-line and his experience and nous in the game will help develop our younger strikers.

“Throughout his career he has a proven goal scoring record and physically he’s in good shape. We look forward to working with him.”
