The Hibees claimed a massive three points on Saturday afternoon in the cinch Premiership as we continued our unbeaten run in the league which now stretches to seven consecutive matches.
Élie Youan turned the game on its head in the first half, scoring twice in quick succession before second half strikes from Chris Cadden and Mykola Kuharevich sealed the points for the Hibees.
Speaking to Hibs TV after the match, Youan told us how delighted he was with the result.
“First of all, I am feeling very good! We keep working hard for these wins and I am very happy for the team.
“We want to finish as high as we can in the league and I feel that we are in a good position right now.
“A few months ago we were not good enough, but now we are confident, we are winning games and we have the fans behind us.”
The Frenchman has now scored five goals in his last five games for Hibs and admitted that he has been loving his football since the turn of the year.

“I am not thinking too much at the moment, I am just focusing on my own game and trying to give the best version of myself. I have been working very hard in training and working hard on the pitch and it is all coming together now.”
Over 3,500 Hibees watched the team triumph in Almondvale and Élie enjoyed celebrating both his goals and at full time with the Hibernian FC supporters.
“I can’t explain the goals, to be honest, I was just thinking I need to score. I know that during the game you don’t get many chances – but I got two today and got two goals so I am very happy!
“I am always delighted to score in front of the fans and the supporters. We need to keep going and keep winning for them!”
