Gareth Evans’ side return to CAS Elite Youth League duty this weekend as they look to get back to winning ways following a 2-0 defeat to Rangers last time out.

That was only the wee Hibees second defeat of 2023, having won six of their last nine matches, including victories over Hearts (twice) Aberdeen and Celtic.

The last time we played The Donsn, we ran out emphatic 6-2 winners in December, 2022.

Ethan Laidlaw scored twice with Jacob MacIntyre, Dean Cleland, Reuben McAllister and Rudi Molotnikov also on target as the Hibees ran riot at HTC.

The young Hibees performances over the course of the 2022/23 campaign have caught the eye at the international level.

Earlier this month, Ethan Laidlaw was called up the Scotland U18s squad for the first time, with Jacob MacIntyre and Rudi Molotnikov both receiving call ups to the Scotland U17s squad.

Full details on the wee Hibees Scotland call-ups can be found here!

The match takes place at 6:30pm on Friday 17 March at Cormack Park, Aberdeen.
