The fullback was very open about the way her side played, especially in the first half.
“It wasn’t good enough. We didn’t test them and didn’t really get near them so that was disappointing. In the second half, we didn’t really create much and didn’t have many shots on target. Overall, it’s disappointing, but there are positive things we can take into next week.”
One such positive was a penalty save by Benni Haaland in the first half. Parry spoke about the confidence this created at half-time, as Hibs looked for an equaliser.
“It’s a good save from Benni. At one-nil down, you’re still in the game and in the second half we played the ball better – but it’s a disappointing performance.”
Consistently finding herself on the team sheet, even when playing out of position, Parry was grateful for the number of minutes she has received so far while on loan at Hibernian.
“It’s great to play in different positions, it helps to build your knowledge in those areas – while still giving what I can to the team.”
“I’m just looking to develop as a player. Getting minutes each week is really good and I’m looking to keep building with every week.”

Looking towards Rangers next week, Parry is confident that her side can produce a performance at Broadwood.
“We know what they’re going to bring now. They’re a good side and keep the ball well. We’ll prepare this week and look forward to that game.”
“In the top six, each game is hard. This is a tough one before the international break, so we look to go into it as a strong side.”
