SUPPORTER BEHAVIOUR
Following the disappointment of three arrests at the match against Hearts, we saw no incidents of pyrotechnics or reported incidents of items being thrown at the St Mirren match. Everyone at the Club, appreciated the supporters’ backing and the collective focus that saw the Hibees, secure an important win and three points towards the push for European football next Season.
We encourage supporters traveling to Aberdeen for more of the same and everyone is reminded that anyone caught in possession of pyrotechnics, caught throwing objects, causing damage, entering the trackside or field of play, bringing of bottles/cans into the stadium can expect action to be taken. The Club will continue to support the actions of Police Scotland and the Courts in acting against anyone detected carrying out a breach of the Ground Regulations or being involved in Unacceptable Conduct, home or away can face sanctions that may include an indefinite Club Ban, a Football Banning Order or as we have seen elsewhere recently, a custodial sentence.
We ask you to think about your actions, before, during and after the match and please don’t be that person!
TICKETING
Match Tickets will not be available at Pittodrie and if you do not have a valid ticket for this match, please do not travel to avoid disappointment. With the game kicking off at 3pm, turnstiles will open at 2pm.
TRAVEL
Supporter coaches should park on the top west side of the Golf Road car park, with coaches parked free of charge. On no account should away supporter coaches drop off passengers anywhere around the stadium other than within the Golf Road Car Park unless they drop off in town and arrive empty. Note there is no Away Car Parking at the stadium and care should be taken to ensure cars are correctly parked away from coned areas.
There is ongoing disruption over the Bridge of Dee and the King George Bridge and those travelling by Coach or Car should avoid both. If possible, follow the road signs at the Charleston turn off and supporters are advised to come into Aberdeen by that route.
Because of these restrictions you are strongly advised to give additional time for your journey and to check up-to-date travel information across Scotland visit: Traveline Scotland.
Finally, ticket checks and searches will be a condition of entry so please listen to and follow instructions given by Police Scotland, Stewards and over the PA System, before, during and after the match.
