Dean Gibson will leave after detailed discussions with the Club, which have been ongoing since December 2022, with both parties agreeing this is the correct move for him and for Hibernian Women.

During his tenure at Hibernian Women, he guided the Club to two fourth place finishes in the SWPL and played an integral role in helping move the team towards professional status.

This season Hibernian Women reached the Sky Sports League Cup Final and currently sit fifth in the league with one game remaining.

Hibernian Women’s General Manager Chris Gaunt commented: “I’d like to begin by thanking Dean for all his hard work at Hibernian Women.

“He became Manager just before Covid-19 which was an incredibly challenging time and over the years helped us transition into a professional side.

“Dean and I have always had an open relationship and this is a positive ending, one that is best for both Dean and Hibernian Women.

“We’re really grateful for the impact he’s had on the Football Club and wish him all the best for the future.”
