A Manchester United XI visit Easter Road, to take on a Hibernian FC Select to celebrate the career of David Gray – who came through the Red Devil’s Academy ranks before becoming a Hibs legend later on in his career.
Fletcher was at Manchester United at the same time as Gray and in the lead-up to this Sunday’s testimonial match, the former United midfielder sat down to explain his relationship with Gray and his involvement in organising the teams for the testimonial.
The 39-year-old also praised Gray’s exceptional character, passion and commitment as a player from a young age, and discussed David career’s and the impact he has made at Hibs.
During the interview, Fletcher also mentioned how much he was looking forward to returning to Edinburgh for the match and briefly touched upon the progress of Manchester United loanee Will Fish has been making at Hibs.
