The 19-year-old’s latest deal will see her through to the summer of 2026 and she spoke earlier in the week upon signing her new extension.

“It shows the belief the club has in me which is nice for me. Being a massive Hibs fan, that’s obviously a really proud moment for me and my family.

“I’m really excited for the future.”

Eilidh scored her first professional hat-trick in our 8-1 victory against Hamilton Academical last Sunday and is excited to contribute more key moments to her side.

“At times there’s maybe been a lot of pressure put on me, but I think that’s helped me develop and pushed me as a player. As a striker, I want to be playing games and scoring goals and although it’s been challenging at times it’s nice to have other options this season.

“I’ve got to be patient and when I get the opportunity, I know I’ve got to try and take it. Learning off of players that are older and more experienced than me - that’s also good.”

After graduating through the Girls Academy, scoring in derby matches at Easter Road and playing in front of record-breaking crowds – all before the age of 20 - Adams is still hungry for success at the club.

“I’ve loved every minute at the club. It’s such an exciting time, especially with all the investment going into the women’s side. Being full-time; that’s where I want to be. I’ve had so many amazing memories in a Hibs shirt and hopefully, I’ll have many more to come.”

‘Hopefully, as a team, we can compete at the top end of the league and compete for some silverware as well.”

Finally, Adams credited a large portion of her success down to the support shown by fans at Meadowbank.

“We’ve got an amazing fanbase that is there every week. We hear them, they are incredible, and we really appreciate all their support.”
