The Hibees come into this one full of confidence after a well-earned point against Celtic on Saturday, facing a Ross County side that currently sit one point below us in the cinch Premiership table.
When speaking to Hibs TV, our Head Coach gave his thoughts on the Staggies.
“We look forward to Ross County. We have taken a lot of positives and confidence out of the Celtic performance. The way we defended was something we’d been working on, and we need to continue to do that.
“We started preparing straight away for Ross County. They’re well organised and Malky Mackay is an experienced manager, I’ve seen his teams and played against his teams. They will come with a game plan and we’re not expecting anything less than a difficult game.”

With a big week ahead – including a Viaplay Semi-Final against Aberdeen – Montgomery has big decisions to make when managing his players’ load and match minutes.
“We’ve been watching how everyone is after the Celtic game,” explained our Head Coach.
“I will choose a team which is good enough to get the result. I won’t take a risk with anyone who isn’t 100% because we play at a high intensity.
“Christian Doidge could be back; it wasn’t serious, it was just a tweak in the muscle. When players have these issues, there’s no point in taking a risk. He’s fighting to be involved tomorrow. We will take the information and advice and make a decision.
“There’s plenty of boys knocking on my door to start, including some of the young boys. It’s important to concentrate game to game and full focus is on Ross County.”
Ticket prices have been slashed tomorrow night, with an adult ticket costing just £10 and Montgomery wants to see as many supporters at Easter Road as possible.
“I’m really grateful for the support I’ve received since I came to the Club. We love the stadium as full as possible, and it really does help the players. The atmosphere the fans created at the weekend was superb.
“I hope to see as many supporters there as possible. It’s a great initiative from the Club. Hopefully everyone can come dressed (in Halloween costumes), and it’ll be a good occasion.”
