The central midfielder made his first start for the Hibees since August after recovering from an ankle injury which saw his playing time limited.

Speaking to Hibs TV after the match, Levitt shared his thoughts on the match.

“On a positive note, it was good to be back out there, but we are obviously very disappointed to concede those two goals at the end.

“It has been a difficult few months for me, every footballer wants to be playing as much football as possible. I think the lads have been doing well, so I knew that when I was given my opportunity I needed to take it, and I think I did that tonight.

“I am feeling 100% now, I have played a few bounce games and come off the bench a few times to get some minutes in the legs which has helped me massively.”

Hibs took the lead through Elie Youan before Jair Tavares fired in his first goal for the Club. But Ross County fought back and scored twice in the final 20 minutes to rescue a point at Easter Road.

“It feels like a bit of a defeat if I am honest. When you are 2-0 up you shouldn’t be drawing the game from that position with that amount of time to go, so everyone is very disappointed.

“Once the dust has settled on this one overnight, our attention will turn to Saturday and we will all be raring to go for that. It will be my first experience of Hampden Park so hopefully we can get a result and make it to the final.”
