Two goals in the second half sealed all three points for the Hibees, the Club’s first cinch Premiership win of the campaign.
In what was an all-action encounter, Gray's men put their bodies on the line and were clinical when it mattered with substitutes Adam Le Fondre and Christian Doidge grabbing the all important goals.
When speaking to Hibs TV after the game, Gray hailed his players.
“I’m delighted. History tells you it’s a very difficult place to come but I’m just delighted for the players; they fully deserve it from the work rate they put in today from start to finish.
“They had a great desire to keep a clean sheet, which was a real focus for us because we knew we were conceding too many goals. We knew going forward we had quality players that would hurt people. We knew if we kept a clean sheet we’d win the game and to a man they gave us absolutely everything. I’m delighted with the three points.”

Le Fondre and Doidge were on the scoresheet, and for many will take the headlines, but our Caretaker Manager was quick to heap praise on the whole side, not just the goal-scorers.
“It’s great to bring on two players of that experience and quality, but I think when you look at the game from start to finish, the whole team was fantastic.
“David Marshall made an unbelievable save at 0-0 which keeps a clean sheet alive and our momentum going. Dylan Vente for 65 minutes worked tirelessly for the team and sacrificed himself, then the other two came on and grabbed the goals.
“It was a very much a team effort. I’m delighted with the performance and result.”
