The defender was involved in the build-up to the first Capital Cup derby of the season at Tynecastle, and was pleased with the backing the players have seen from fans thus far.
“The number of fans that look to be coming is great. Just over five hundred tickets have been sold in the away end, but we’re still looking to sell more, and hopefully, we can put on a good show for the home and the away fans.”
“We’re looking forward to seeing some regular faces and some new ones too. Hopefully, we can get the newer faces along to Meadowbank after the game.”

Eddie is keen to impress on Sunday and is committed to putting three points on the board.
“We drew three games against Hearts last season, so the games are obviously pretty close between the two clubs now. It’s still quite early on in the season so there’s really no better time to take three points and add that to the table.”
With a wide array of players being welcomed to the club over the summer, Eddie was pleased with how the squad is beginning to shape up in time for the showpiece derby.
“You can see from the performances that we are gelling and everything is starting to fall into place. Behind the scenes, everything is going about as well as we could ask. All the staff and players want to achieve something. Hopefully, we can top that off with a result on Sunday.”
“We’re determined to put things right after the defeat to Celtic last week. We’re not being too hard on ourselves over it because we executed a lot of things we wanted to, but it’s just one final piece that we are looking to add to our game.
“We’re really excited. We’re looking to get more points on the table and hopefully, our preparations pay off so we can come out and get the win on Sunday.”
