The Hibees would need to wait until the second half to celebrate, as Baucom scored shortly after 60 minutes. Despite clearly having enjoyed the game, she praised the work ethic shown by those around her.
“It was great play from Abbie, she had some great footwork and delivered a great ball right to my feet. At that point, I just needed to trust myself that I could spin and get my shot on target. Luckily it hit the back of the net.”
If we keep getting forward against teams like Motherwell that breathes confidence as a team. We’ve had a hard-fought week against three top teams. To come out with nine points is a testament to how good of a team we can be and how hard-working we are. There's more to come and it's great to think about that."

Baucom was particularly praising of the service she has been receiving from Abbie Ferguson and Tegan Bowie.
“We’re finally starting to get into a flow and discover each other’s tendencies and I think you can start to see that on the pitch. Tegan and Abbie have some great skills out wide, allowing me to do what I do on the pitch. I think we’re going to start causing problems against other teams going forward.”
With the next lot of international fixtures quickly approaching, Jorian was confident the team would return fully fit ahead of the Sky Sports Cup tie against Aberdeen in October.
“We can use this period to recover and repair. We take each game day by day, so it’s a while to prepare for the next one. Some of us will take some time off and enjoy the break and rest our legs until the rest of the girls get back from international duty.”
