A Hibernian FC XI takes on a Manchester United XI on Sunday 15 October (2pm kick-off at Easter Road) to celebrate David Gray’s magnificent career.
Gray’s former Manchester United teammates – Darren Fletcher, Wes Brown and Darron Gibson – were all announced earlier this month to play in the fixture.
We can now confirm that the United squad will also include Luke Chadwick, Ravel Morrison, Chris Eagles and English Premier League winner, Danny Simpson – all of whom played alongside Gray in various different seasons during his time in Manchester.
There are four new additions to the Hibernian Legends side too, with Gray’s 2016 Scottish Cup-winning teammates – Darren McGregor and Anthony Stokes – both featuring in the match alongside, Scott Allan and Grant Holt who were part of the 2016/17 Championship title-winning team captained by Gray the following season.
More players from both teams are set to be announced in the lead-up to the match!
